Questions about the map

How are these condo neighborhood boundaries defined?
The boundaries are Seattle Condo Authority editorial definitions, drawn from Seattle and King County open data and refined by Jeff Reynolds around how condo buyers actually shop. They are not official NWMLS market areas. Where a micro-neighborhood like Belltown or Denny Triangle sits inside one larger NWMLS area, counts are labeled "in and around" that neighborhood.
How current are the for-sale counts and prices on the map?
Counts and prices come from Northwest MLS data as distributed by MLS Grid, refreshed throughout the day. Every stat band on the map carries a data-as-of timestamp, and the same numbers appear on the neighborhood and building pages.
Which Seattle neighborhoods have the most condos?
Downtown Seattle is the densest condo market in the Pacific Northwest: Belltown, the central business district, Pike Place and the waterfront, Pioneer Square, First Hill, and South Lake Union together hold the largest share of inventory. On the Eastside, downtown Bellevue is the high-rise center, with Kirkland and Redmond close behind.
How do I see the condos for sale in a specific building?
Click any gold building pin on the map to see its live for-sale count, then open the building page for current listings, recent sales, and building details. Jeff Reynolds tracks more than 200 Seattle and Eastside condo buildings.
