For more than 50 years, this cabin has been bringing families together. Parents slow down. Kids actually want to hang out. Summer means lazy afternoons on the deck w/incredible views, evening bonfires, + sounds that make everyone stop talking for a minute. In the fall, grab your fishing rod + head down the shared beach stairs to one of Whidbey's legendary salmon beaches. Dig for clams, hunt for geoducks, or drop a crab pot. In the winter, launch your boat just down the road at Possession Point + watch for humpbacks + gray whales as you chase Dungeness crab. This isn't a fancy cabin, + that's what makes it so special. It's the kind of place where sandy feet are welcome, fishing gear lives in the shed, the outdoor shower gets plenty of use, + nobody cares if dinner is fresh salmon or hot dogs. Inside you'll find everything you need: a cozy bunk room, range, microwave, refrigerator, Airhead composting toilet, outdoor hot-water shower, + a separate gear shed ready for rods, crab pots, and adventure. Some families hand down photo albums. Others hand down a cabin. This one has spent five decades bringing people together.
